Dear African youth,
The African Network of Youth Policy Experts (AFRINYPE) wishes to call on young people across Africa and the Diasporas to submit opinions on topical issues bothering on young people in the ‘SPEAK UP TODAY’ advocacy campaign of AFRINYPE.
WHO WE ARE
AFRINYPE is the regional network that federates expertise on Youth Policies. Established in 2014, it exists as a legal entity with recognition of the African Union and the United Nations as the foremost regional youth policy organization in Africa. Currently, AFRINYPE has chapters and membership in 40 African countries.
THE ‘SPEAK UP TODAY’ ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN
The SPEAK UP TODAY is the third of the series of advocacy campaign of AFRINYPE following the successful LOVE CONQUERS HATE and THE AFRICA I WANT TO SEE advocacy campaigns in the past. The SPEAK UP TODAY advocacy charges the youth to talk about their issues and make the voice louder for meaningful impacts. It is a known fact that there is power in the voice of the youth if well amplified and done consistently. AFRINYPE wants the youth to own their issues, no assumptions, no proxy!
Opinions collected shall be published on our website and all social media platforms, thus collected by our Policy Development Directorate as topical issues to be prioritized for research towards fixing the policy gaps through legislative lobbies across African parliaments.
